I’ll be at the Canadian Brewhouse tonight between 8-10pm just quietly hanging out (no balloons or confetti) – no matter who you voted for, feel free to stop by and say hi!

I will effectively represent Ward 3 in the fight for our voices to be heard, our communities to be cared for, and our concerns to be respected.
I will bring transparency and accountability back to the City of Calgary at both the Council and Administration levels.
I will balance the needs of the community with the requirement to be fiscally responsible with taxpayers’ money.
Issues and Positions
What About The:
North Central High School?
North Calgary Diagnosis and Treatment Centre?
14th Street/Stoney Trail Interchange?
These types of important issues are special because City Hall itself is not exclusively in control of them – they require input and support from Calgary Board of Education, the Alberta Government and the Government of Canada. In short, they are Inter-Government Issues and you can find details in that section.
Ian McAnerin has more than 20 years of experience and expertise dealing with multiple layers of government departments, agencies and crown corporations. While consulting to Canada Foreign Affairs, Heritage Canada, Canadian Tourism Commission, Alberta Small Business, BC Jobs, Tourism and Industry, Yukon Tourism and Culture, and Calgary Business Development (amongst many others), he has occasionally spent up to 70% of his time helping his clients navigate through their own bureaucracy in order to accomplish projects that otherwise would not have been possible!
He intends to bring that ability to Calgary City Hall on behalf of the residents of Ward 3 in order to accomplish what others have given up on, and to finally get Ward 3 and all its communities the recognition and respect we deserve and demand.
